The township is found near the Lehigh River. It is north of Allentown, northwest of Bethlehem, and west of Easton.

Waterways and Natural Features

Water from Moore Township flows into the Delaware River. This happens through several creeks that start in the township. These include Catasauqua, Monocacy, and Hokendauqua creeks. They all flow into the Lehigh River. The Bushkill Creek also flows south and east into the Delaware River.

The northern edge of Moore Township is marked by the Blue Mountain. This is a long mountain ridge that stretches over 150 miles.
