The Moroccan Grand Prix was a famous Grand Prix car racing event. It first started in 1925 in Casablanca, Morocco. Back then, it was officially called the "Casablanca Grand Prix."

In 1930, the race moved to a new track called the Anfa Racecourse. There was no race in 1933. Also, no races were held between 1935 and 1953. When the race returned in 1954, it took place in the city of Agadir. These races were for sports cars.

A brand new track at Ain-Diab, close to Casablanca, was ready for the 1957 Moroccan Grand Prix. This was a Formula One race, but it didn't count towards the official World Championship. The only time the Moroccan Grand Prix was part of the World Championship was in 1958. Sadly, during this race, a driver named Stuart Lewis-Evans passed away. This tragic event led to the 1958 race being the very last Grand Prix held in Morocco.
