Mount Archibald is a tall mountain peak in the Yukon, Canada. It stands at 2,588-metre (8,491-foot) high. This impressive mountain is part of the Kluane Ranges, which are a section of the larger Saint Elias Mountains.

Mount Archibald is located about 21 km (13 mi) west of a town called Haines Junction. It's also 5.9 km (4 mi) south of Mount Decoeli. The mountain sits right on the edge of Kluane National Park. This means you can often see it from the Alaska Highway if the weather is clear.

The mountain was named after Edgar Archibald (1885-1968). He was a Canadian scientist who studied farming. The name "Mount Archibald" became official on August 12, 1980. This was decided by the Geographical Names Board of Canada. From the top of Mount Archibald, you can see amazing views deep into Kluane National Park. You might even spot giant peaks like Mount Logan, Mount Vancouver, and Mount Kennedy.

Mount Archibald has a subarctic climate. This means it has very long, cold, and snowy winters. The summers are usually mild, not too hot. The average temperature in this area is about -6 degrees Celsius.

The warmest month is July, when the average temperature reaches about 8 degrees Celsius. The coldest month is December. During this time, temperatures can drop below -20 degrees Celsius. With the wind, it can feel even colder, sometimes below -30 degrees Celsius!

Water from the melting snow and ice on the mountain flows into streams. These streams eventually join the Alsek River.
