Mount Mills is a very tall mountain in California. It's part of the amazing Sierra Nevada mountain range. This mountain is special because it's a "Thirteener," meaning it's over 13,000 feet high! It's also known as a California 4000 meter peak.

Mount Mills stands on the Sierra Crest, which is like the backbone of the Sierra Nevada mountains. You can find it north of Mount Abbot and south of Mono Pass. The mountain is inside the beautiful John Muir Wilderness area. Its peak, which is 13,457 feet (4,102 m) tall, marks the border between two California counties: Inyo County and Fresno County.

To the west of Mount Mills, you'll find an area called the Mono Recesses. This is a rugged and scenic part of the wilderness.
