About Natashia Williams
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Natashia Williams started her acting career at 16 years old. Her first TV appearance was on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. After high school, she received a scholarship to attend the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). While studying and acting, she shared her experiences as a biracial person with both African and European heritage.
Soon after, she got her first movie role in Def Jam's How to Be a Player. She also began modeling with the Ford Agency. You might have seen her in ads for brands like Old Navy, Hanes, and Skechers.
Acting Roles and Music Videos
While modeling, Natashia appeared in many movies and TV shows. Some of these include Son of the Beach, Smart Guy, Malcolm & Eddie, The Parkers, and Girlfriends. She also appeared in the movie Two Can Play That Game.
From 1997 to 2003, she was featured in several music videos. She worked with famous artists such as Ginuwine, Montell Jordan, Usher, and Sting.
Starring Roles in TV Shows
Natashia's first main role on a TV series was in So Little Time. In this show, she starred alongside the famous Olsen Twins. After that, she co-starred in She Spies with Kristen Miller and Natasha Henstridge. This show ran for two seasons.
Later, she joined the cast of Romeo! on Nickelodeon. She played Angeline Miller for the last two seasons of the show.
In 2006, Natashia filmed a TV pilot called Filthy Gorgeous. It was about high-class escorts in New York. Even though the pilot wasn't picked up as a series, it aired as a movie on Showtime Networks. She also had a small part in the comedy movie Smiley Face, starring Anna Faris.
Singing and Later Career
Natashia also tried out for American Idol in 2008. She made it to the Top 25 contestants before being eliminated.
She then starred in the psychological thriller Circle of Eight from Paramount Pictures. She also had a recurring role as Lucy Bennett on The Vampire Diaries.
In 2013, Natashia wrote a book about her life and career. It is called Mind Over Model, An Internal Journey Through The World Of Externals. The next year, she started her own jewelry line called Gypsy Posh By TOSH. She is both the owner and designer.
Natashia also sings! She wrote and performed the song "Shady" on the album Digital Bullet by RZA. In 2006, she performed live with Corey Feldman and his band at the House Of Blues in Hollywood, California.
Natashia Williams has been married to Brevin Blach since December 2006. They have two children together.
