Percy Romeo Miller Jr. (born August 19, 1989), known as Romeo (and formerly Lil' Romeo), is an American rapper, singer, actor, and TV star. He became famous as a rapper in the early 2000s. This happened after he signed with his father, Master P's, record label, No Limit Records.
In 2001, his first song, "My Baby", reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His first album, Lil' Romeo, came out soon after. It reached number six on the US Billboard 200 chart.
In 2002, Romeo released his second album, Game Time. It reached number 33 on the US Billboard 200. His third album, Romeoland, came out in 2004 and charted at number 70. In 2006, he released a digital album called Lottery under the name Romeo. That same year, he released a soundtrack for his movie God's Gift. This was his first album with explicit lyrics.
Besides music, Romeo has also acted. He had his own TV show on Nickelodeon called Romeo! starting in 2002. It ran for three seasons. He also starred in movies like Jumping the Broom (2011) and Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection (2012). In 2010, Romeo started his own record labels, including No Limit Forever Records.

Early Life and Family
Romeo Miller was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His father is the famous rapper and businessman Master P. His mother is former rapper Sonya C. He is also related to other musicians: his uncles are rappers C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker. His cousin is producer Mo B. Dick. His sister is singer and actress Cymphonique Miller. Romeo signed with his father's record label, Soulja Music Entertainment, when he was just 5 years old. This happened after he wrote a rap song for his dad.
Romeo's Music Journey
Early Albums and Hits
As Lil' Romeo, his first album was called Lil' Romeo. It included the hit song "My Baby", which was number one on the R&B/Hip-hop Singles chart. The album reached number 6 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In July 2001, it sold 500,000 copies in the United States and was certified Gold.
In 2002, Romeo released his second album, Game Time. It reached number 33 on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. This album had the song "2-Way", which reached number 66 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Another song, "True Love", reached number 16 on the same chart.
In 2004, Romeo released his third album, Romeoland. This was his last album where he was known as Lil' Romeo. It wasn't as successful in sales. Romeoland reached number 70 on the Billboard 200 and number 29 on the Top Rap Albums chart.
New Labels and Collaborations
In 2005, Romeo and his father, Master P, started a new record label called Guttar Music Entertainment. Romeo also formed a rap group called Rich Boyz with his brother and cousins. They released an album called Young Ballers: The Hood Been Good to Us in 2005. The group later broke up.
In 2006, Romeo released his first digital album, Lottery. This was the first album released under his new name, Romeo. Later that year, he released God's Gift, which was the soundtrack for a movie directed by his father. This album was Romeo's first to be labeled as explicit. Both albums included the song "U Can't Shine Like Me". This song was a response to rapper Bow Wow, who some fans thought had criticized Romeo and his father.
In 2007, Romeo and Master P started another record label called Take A Stand Records. They also formed a new group called Miller Boyz. They released their first album, Hip Hop History, in September 2007.
Recent Music Projects
Since 2008, Romeo has continued to work on music. He released mixtapes and EPs. In 2010, he relaunched No Limit Records as No Limit Forever. He also formed a new group called the College Boyys, who released an album called Spring Break.
In 2011, Romeo toured with his father and uncle Silkk the Shocker. He also released his mixtape I Am No Limit. In 2012, he formed a new group called Resq3, but they later disbanded. He also released the mixtape Inception under the name Maserati Rome.
In 2015, Romeo released two collaboration mixtapes with his group Money Mafia. He also released new songs like "Till the Club Close" and "Bent". In 2016, he released Fighting Monsters as a mixtape. In 2019, he released the album Hidden Treasure, which included a song with his father.

Acting Career
Romeo started acting in 2001 with a small part in the Walt Disney Pictures film Max Keeble's Big Move. In 2003, he starred with Jessica Alba in the dance movie Honey. He played Benny, a young boy hoping for a chance. He also voiced himself in an episode of the cartoon Static Shock and sang its theme song.
In 2006, he starred in God's Gift and later in Uncle P with his father in 2007. He also made a quick appearance in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. In 2010, he was a guest star in the TV show The Defenders. He also appeared in TV commercials for McDonald's.
In 2012, Romeo starred in Tyler Perry's movie Madea's Witness Protection. He played Jake, a young man trying to get money back for his father's church. He also appeared on the dating show The Choice. In 2013, he talked about his siblings on a Nick News with Linda Ellerbee episode. More recently, he appeared in the 2017 film Never Heard and the 2022 Lifetime film Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story. In December 2022, he starred in the holiday movie A Miracle Before Christmas.
Fashion Designer
In 2010, Romeo launched his own clothing line called "College Boyys". He said he wanted to inspire young boys to think about college and success. He wanted the clothes to be "classy, cool, and urban" with the message that "It's actually cool to be smart." In 2013, he announced he was working on a new clothing line called ROME Everything.

Romeo played basketball as a point guard in high school. He played for Windward High School for one year. Then, he transferred to Beverly Hills High School and was a starter for three years. In his junior year (2005–06), he averaged 13.9 points and 5.6 assists per game. In his senior year (2006–07), he averaged 8.6 points and 9.0 assists per game.
In 2006, Romeo was invited to a special basketball camp called ABCD Camp. Many future NBA players attended this camp. Romeo didn't play as well there, averaging less than 2 points per game. The camp director said he invited Romeo as a favor to his father, Master P.
Despite this, Romeo committed to play basketball for the University of Southern California (USC) in 2007. He played for the USC Trojans using his birth name, Percy Miller. He played for two seasons, from 2008 to 2010. He played a total of 19 minutes in nine games, scoring five points.
Modeling Career
Romeo has also worked as a model. In 2010, he modeled for a 2011 calendar. In 2011, he modeled for TROIX magazine and did a new photoshoot.
Dancing with the Stars
Romeo competed on Dancing with the Stars in season twelve. He was paired with professional dancer Chelsie Hightower. They were eliminated from the show on May 10, 2011. They finished in the Top 5, just one week before the semi-final round.
Other TV Appearances
In 2017, Romeo competed on The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars, an MTV reality show. He also hosted the MTV reality series Ex on the Beach for four seasons.
Personal Life
Romeo Miller became a father for the first time on February 14, 2022. He announced the birth of his daughter with his girlfriend, Drew Sangster. On March 15, 2023, he announced that they had welcomed another daughter, their second child together.
