Percy Romeo Miller (born August 19, 1989), known as Romeo (and formerly Lil' Romeo), is an American rapper, singer, actor, and television star. He became famous as a rapper in the early 2000s. He signed with his father, Master P's record label, No Limit Records.
His first song, "My Baby", was released in 2001. It reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart. His first album, Lil' Romeo, came out shortly after and reached number six on the US Billboard 200 chart.
In 2002, Miller released his second album, Game Time. It reached number 33 on the US Billboard 200. His third album, Romeoland, was released in 2004 and reached number 70. In 2006, he released a digital album called Lottery under the name Romeo. That same year, he released a soundtrack for his film God's Gift.
Besides music, Miller has also worked as an actor. He had his own TV show on Nickelodeon called Romeo! starting in 2002, which ran for three seasons. Miller also starred in movies like Jumping the Broom (2011) and Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection (2012). In 2010, Miller started his own record labels, including Guttar Music and No Limit Forever Records.

Early Life and Family
Miller was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His father is the famous rapper and businessman Master P. His mother is former rapper Sonya C. He is also related to other musicians: his uncles are rappers C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker, and his sister is singer and actress Cymphonique Miller.
Romeo signed with his father's music label, Soulja Music Entertainment, when he was just five years old. He had written a rap song for his dad, which impressed him.
Music Career Highlights
Starting with Lil' Romeo
As Lil' Romeo, his first album was called Lil' Romeo. It included the popular song "My Baby", which was a number one hit on the R&B/Hip-hop Singles chart. The album itself reached number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart. By July 2001, it had sold over 500,000 copies in the United States.
Game Time and Romeoland
In 2002, Romeo released his second album, Game Time. It reached number 33 on the Billboard 200. This album had two popular songs: "2-Way" and "True Love".
His third album, Romeoland, came out in 2004. This was his last album where he was known as Lil' Romeo. Romeoland reached number 70 on the Billboard 200.
New Labels and Name Change
In 2005, Miller and his father, Master P, started a new record label called Guttar Music Entertainment. Romeo also formed a rap group called Rich Boyz with his brother and cousins. They released an album together, but the group later broke up.
On April 4, 2006, Miller released his first digital album, Lottery. This was his first album released under his new name, Romeo. Later that year, he released God's Gift, which was the soundtrack for a movie directed by his father.
In 2007, Romeo and Master P started another record label called Take A Stand Records. They also formed a new group called Miller Boyz and released an album called Hip Hop History.
Later Music Projects
After 2008, Romeo continued to work on music. He released several mixtapes and EPs (Extended Plays). These included Patience Is A Virtue in 2010 and I Am No Limit in 2011. He also formed new groups like the College Boyys.
In 2010, Miller helped relaunch No Limit Records as No Limit Forever. He also performed at the 2010 Hip Hop Honors event, celebrating his father, Master P, and No Limit Records.
In 2012, Romeo formed a new group called Resq3, but it later disbanded. He also released a mixtape called Inception under the new stage name Maserati Rome. In 2015, he released two collaboration mixtapes with his group Money Mafia. His album Hidden Treasure was released in December 2019.

Acting Career
Romeo Miller started acting in 2001 with a small role in the Walt Disney Pictures film Max Keeble's Big Move. In 2003, he starred with Jessica Alba in the dance movie Honey, playing a young boy named Benny. He also voiced himself in an episode of the animated series Static Shock.
He continued acting in films like God's Gift (2006) and Uncle P (2007) with his father. He also made a guest appearance on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. In 2010, he appeared in the TV series The Defenders. He also starred in Jumping the Broom (2011) and Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection (2012).
More recently, Miller appeared in the 2017 film Never Heard with his father. In 2022, he had a role in the Lifetime film Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story. In December 2022, he starred in the holiday film A Miracle Before Christmas.
Fashion Designer
On July 24, 2010, Romeo launched his own clothing line called "College Boyys". He said he wanted to inspire young boys to think about college and success. The brand was promoted by Romeo and other artists like Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith. In 2013, Miller announced he was working on a new clothing line called ROME Everything.

Miller played basketball as a point guard in high school. He played for one year at Windward High School and then became a three-year starter at Beverly Hills High School.
In 2007, Miller accepted a scholarship to play basketball for the USC Trojans at the University of Southern California. He played for the team using his birth name, Percy Miller, until 2010. He played in a total of 9 games, scoring 5 points.
Modeling Career
Romeo has also worked as a model. In December 2010, he modeled for a new 2011 calendar. In April 2011, he modeled for TROIX magazine and did a new photoshoot.
Dancing with the Stars
Romeo competed in season twelve of Dancing with the Stars. He was partnered with professional dancer Chelsie Hightower. They were eliminated from the show on May 10, 2011, finishing in the Top 5.

On February 14, 2022, Romeo Miller announced on Instagram that he and his girlfriend, Drew Sangster, had welcomed their first child, a daughter. On March 15, 2023, he shared that they had another daughter, their second child together. Miller is Catholic.
