New Market was once a small city in Scott County, Minnesota, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 332 people lived there.
In January 2007, something big happened! New Market joined with another nearby city called Elko. Together, they formed a new, larger city known as Elko New Market.
Before the merger, New Market had its own public school. It was called Eagle View Elementary School. This school taught students from preschool all the way up to 5th grade. It was part of the New Prague Schools system.

New Market was located in the state of Minnesota. It was part of Scott County.
