Newton Centre is one of the many villages that make up the city of Newton. It is located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in the United States.
The main part of Newton Centre is a busy area where three streets meet: Beacon Street, Centre Street, and Langley Road. This area is the largest downtown in all of Newton's villages. It is a popular place for people to go shopping.
Important buildings in Newton Centre include the Newton City Hall and War Memorial and the Newton Free Library. You can also find the Newton Centre station here, which is part of the MBTA Green Line "D" branch train system.
The Crystal Lake and Pleasant Street Historic District is a special area. It shows off building styles from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Crystal Lake is a natural lake that covers 33 acres. It is a favorite spot for local people to go swimming.
