Nicholas Eason (born May 29, 1980) is an American football coach. He used to play as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Today, he is the defensive tackles coach and run game coordinator at Clemson University.
Eason has also been an assistant coach for other big teams. These include the Auburn Tigers, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, and Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Clemson. The Denver Broncos picked him in the 2003 NFL draft. He played for 11 seasons in the NFL. He played for the Broncos, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Arizona Cardinals. Eason also played for the Scottish Claymores. He won Super Bowl XLIII with the Steelers.

Starting with the Broncos and Claymores
The Denver Broncos chose Eason in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL draft. This was a big step for him. Sadly, his first season ended early due to a leg injury. In 2004, he played for the Scottish Claymores in NFL Europa. This was a league in Europe. After that, he spent some time on the Broncos' practice squad. He was later released by the team.
Time with the Cleveland Browns

Winning with the Pittsburgh Steelers
Eason joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in April 2007. In his first year, he played in all 16 games. He made 14 tackles. The Steelers signed him to a new contract in 2008. This showed they valued him.
In 2009, Eason was briefly released. But he was quickly re-signed by the Steelers. He even started some games when another player was hurt. In one important game, he made 4 tackles.
