North Ostrobothnia (called Finnish: Pohjois-Pohjanmaa in Finnish and Swedish: Norra Österbotten in Swedish) is a large region in Finland. It's located in the central part of the country. This region shares borders with other Finnish regions like Lapland, Kainuu, and Central Finland. It also borders Russia.
North Ostrobothnia is known for its beautiful nature. It has many forests, lakes, and rivers. The region's capital city is Oulu. Oulu is the largest city in northern Finland. It is a very important center for technology and education.
