Oh Yeah! Cartoons was an exciting American cartoon show that aired on Nickelodeon. It was like a collection of many different short cartoons. Fred Seibert created the show. It was made by Frederator Incorporated and Nickelodeon Animation Studio.

The show was part of Nickelodeon's famous Nicktoons lineup. In its first season, different school kids introduced the cartoons. Later, Kenan Thompson from All That and Kenan & Kel hosted the second season. In the third and final season, Josh Server from All That took over. Bill Burnett wrote the show's catchy theme music.

Oh Yeah! Cartoons was a huge project for creating new animation. It gave many cartoon makers a chance to create 96 short cartoons. Each cartoon was about seven minutes long. This show helped create three popular spin-off series. These shows were The Fairly OddParents, ChalkZone, and My Life as a Teenage Robot. All three were produced by Frederator.

In its first season, Oh Yeah! showed 39 brand new cartoons. This was more new cartoons than any other network at the time. Overall, the show produced a total of 96 cartoons.

Many of the animated shorts were made by cartoonists who later became very famous. Some of these talented artists include Butch Hartman, who created The Fairly OddParents, and Seth MacFarlane, who later made Family Guy. Other notable cartoonists were Bob Boyle, Bill Burnett, Alex Kirwan, Rob Renzetti, and Dave Wasson.

Many animators on Oh Yeah! had also worked on Cartoon Network's What a Cartoon!. That show was also created by Fred Seibert. It had a similar idea of showing many different short cartoons.

How New Cartoons Are Made

Oh Yeah! Cartoons was the second "cartoon incubator" from Frederator Studios. An incubator is a place where new ideas and talents can grow. Frederator Studios has continued this tradition. They help find new artists, characters, and cartoon series.

They do this through other short cartoon shows. Some of these include What A Cartoon! (on Cartoon Network, 1995) and Random! Cartoons (on Nickelodeon, 2008). These "laboratories" have led to many well-known series.

Some famous cartoons that came from these incubators are:
