Oldtown is a small city in Bonner County, Idaho. It's like a neighbor to Newport, Washington. In 2010, about 184 people lived there.
Oldtown is right next to the Pend Oreille River. It's also very close to the state line between Idaho and Washington. There are no big mountains or rivers separating Oldtown from Newport, just a straight line on a map that marks the state border. The main street, U.S. Route 2, has businesses squeezed between the state line and the river. Many homes are located a bit further south, away from the river.
