Opp is a city located in Covington County, Alabama, in the United States. In 2020, about 6,771 people lived there. The city is named after Henry Opp, who was a lawyer for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.

Opp is found in the eastern part of Covington County. It is near the towns of Babbie to the west and Horn Hill to the southwest.
Main Roads in Opp
Two important roads, U.S. Route 84 and U.S. Route 331, pass close to Opp. U.S. Route 84 goes around the city to the south and east. It leads about 16 miles (26 km) northeast to Elba. It also goes about 16 miles (26 km) west to Andalusia, which is the main city in Covington County.
U.S. Route 331 also goes around the city to the east, sharing its path with U.S. Route 84. This road goes about 22 miles (35 km) north to Brantley. It also travels about 21 miles (34 km) south to Florala, which is right on the border with Florida. Alabama State Route 52 connects from U.S. Route 84/331 and goes southeast about 7 miles (11 km) to Kinston.
