The Oreille River is a small river in Quebec, Canada. It flows into the Blondeau River (Chibougamau Lake). The entire river is located within the town of Chibougamau in the Nord-du-Québec region.
The river flows through an area called the Roy Township. A forest road helps people reach the river. This road connects to Route 167, which is a main road in the area.
The Oreille River is usually frozen from early November to mid-May. However, it's generally safe to walk or travel on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.
River's Journey
The Oreille River starts at Lemoine Lake. This lake is about 2.1 kilometres (1.3 mi) long and sits at an elevation of 424 metres (1,391 ft).
The river then flows for about 7.7 kilometres (4.8 mi) before reaching its end.

- It continues southeast, passing through Oreille Lake. This lake is about 0.9 kilometres (0.56 mi) long.

Where the River Ends
The Oreille River empties into the north side of the Blondeau River (Chibougamau Lake). The Blondeau River then flows into McKenzie Bay, which is part of Chibougamau Lake.
From Chibougamau Lake, the water travels through several other rivers and lakes. It flows into Dorés Lake (Chibougamau River) and then joins the Chibougamau River. The Chibougamau River eventually meets the Opawica River.
After that, the water flows through the Waswanipi River into Goéland Lake (Waswanipi River). This lake is connected to Matagami Lake. Finally, the water from the Oreille River reaches the Nottaway River, which flows into Rupert Bay and then into James Bay.
