Meet the PJ Masks Heroes
This section explains what the show is about. It introduces the main characters and their mission.
What the Show is About
When night comes, three friends named Amaya, Greg, and Connor turn into the superhero team known as the PJ Masks. Their job is to fight bad guys and stop them from messing up everyone's day. Amaya becomes Owlette, who is like an owl. Greg transforms into Gekko, who is like a lizard. And Connor becomes Catboy, who is like a cat.
The PJ Masks Team
The PJ Masks are the main superhero team in the show. They fight crime at night to protect the city.
- Connor / Catboy (voiced by Evan O'Donnell in Season 5–present): Connor has brown hair and blue eyes. When he transforms, he wears a blue cat costume. His special powers include super speed, amazing hearing, high jumps, and powerful strikes.
- Amaya / Owlette (voiced by Addison Holley): Amaya has dark brown hair and wears glasses. She has a pink, wing-shaped hair clip. As Owlette, she wears a red owl costume. Her powers include seeing in the dark, flying, creating strong gusts of wind with her wings, and using super feathers.
- Greg / Gekko (voiced by Benjamin Hum in Season 4–present): Greg has blonde hair and green eyes. When he transforms, he wears a green lizard costume with a thick tail and fins on his head. His powers are super strength, turning invisible (though sometimes you can still see him a little), sticking to walls, and creating shields.
- PJ Robot (voiced by Juan Luis Bonilla): This robot helps out at the PJ Masks' headquarters. Romeo first created him to spy on the heroes, but PJ Robot decided to join the good side instead.
- PJ Pets: These are animal friends who help the PJ Masks.
- Alley Cat
- Owly
- Lionel
- PJ Riders: These are special vehicles or animal companions that the PJ Masks ride.
- Cat Stripe King
- Eagle Owl
- Power Lizard
PJ Masks Allies
The PJ Masks also have friends and other heroes who help them out.
- Teeny Weeny Ninjalino (voiced by Rob Tinkler): This tiny, cute ninja was supposed to spy for Night Ninja. But Owlette and Gekko became friends with him.
- Dylan / Armadylan (voiced by Cristian Perri, Avery Esteves, Christian Campbell, and TBA): Dylan is a strong boy who is like an armadillo. He wants to be a hero, but sometimes his inexperience causes problems. He can get angry when villains trick him. His powers include super strength, causing earthquakes, and rolling into a ball to move around.
- An Yu (voiced by Kari Wong): An Yu is a samurai girl who uses her special bo staff. She can use it as a weapon or to fly. The staff also turns into a magic flute and gives her powers. She lives in a special forest that you can only enter through portals. If she leaves the forest, her powers disappear, but she can still do martial arts.
- Santa Claus (voiced by Ron Pardo): Santa Claus teamed up with the PJ Masks in the episode "The PJ Masks Save Christmas."
- Newton / Newton Star (voiced by Shomoy James Mitchell): Newton is a boy from space who appeared after a strange asteroid accident. The PJ Masks first met him in space. During the day, he is a boy with glasses who hangs out in the Museum's Library. His powers include creating shields, surfing on asteroids, making white orbs, and flying and breathing in space without special gear.
PJ Masks Villains
The PJ Masks face many different villains who try to cause trouble.
- Romeo (voiced by Simon Pirso and Callum Shoniker): Romeo is a mad scientist who wants to take over the world with his inventions. He is the main bad guy in the series.
- Robot (voiced by Ron Pardo): Robot is Romeo's helper.

- Toolbox: This walking toolbox carries Romeo's tools for making inventions.
- Spy-Bot: A small, cube-shaped robot that Romeo uses to spy on the PJ Masks.
- Fly Bots: These are small, flying robots that guard Romeo's Sky Factory.
- Naughty Bots: These robots look like presents but destroy everything related to Christmas.
- Robo-PJ Masks: These are robot versions of the PJ Masks. They have the same powers, plus laser eyes that can stop enemies from moving.
- Luna Girl (voiced by Brianna D'Aguanno): Luna Girl is a moon-themed villain with light blonde hair. She lives in a palace on the moon. Her main tools are her Luna Magnet and Luna Board, which she uses to fly around.
- Motsuki (voiced by Hattie Kragten): Motsuki is a moth-like creature whom Luna Girl sees as a little sister. She was once one of Luna Girl's many small moths but gained a special position and a name. She later changed into her current form and learned to speak.
- The Moths (voiced by Hattie Kragten): These are Luna Girl's small helpers.
- Night Ninja (voiced by Jacob Soley): Night Ninja is a ninja who leads a group of Ninjalinos. He uses sticky balls called Sticky Splats to trap his opponents. He also uses smoke bombs to teleport quickly. He is very acrobatic and can move things with his mind.
- Ninjalinos (voiced by Rob Tinkler): These are Night Ninja's foot soldiers.
- The Wolfy Kids: Often called "the Wolfies," this group includes Rip (voiced by Shechinah Mpumlwana), Howler (voiced by Kaden Stephen and Matthew Mucci), and Kevin (voiced by Ethan Pugiotto). They are werewolf siblings who love to cause mischief. Their only power is shouting out red energy rings that create strong winds.
- Octobella (voiced by Michela Luci): Octobella is an octopus-girl who lives in her lair in the moat. At first, she seemed friendly to the PJ Masks. But when Gekko took a crystal from her home, she saw them as thieves and became their enemy. Her powers include throwing underwater tornadoes, turning invisible, using crystals for spells, hypnotizing people with glowing orbs, and making sonic screams. She can also give others the ability to breathe underwater.
- Percival (voiced by Rob Tinkler): Percival is a mumbling lobster who helps Octobella.
- Munki-gu (voiced by Daniel Pathan): Munki-gu is a mischievous little monkey who loves to cause trouble and play pranks. He was once turned into a stone statue for 1,000 years as punishment. Gekko accidentally freed him. His powers include copying other people's voices, flying with magical boots, and pulling endless bananas out of nowhere.
- Pharaoh Boy (voiced by Logan Nicholson): Pharaoh Boy is a mystical young pharaoh who came through a portal in the museum. He tried to boss the PJ Masks around and control their powers using his Staff of Ra. His Staff of Ra gives him powers that work everywhere. Like Romeo, he also wants to take over the world.
- Orticia (voiced by Markeda McKay): Orticia is a plant-like girl who can control and grow plants. Romeo created her to be his helper, but she decided to go her own way. She turned three ordinary pumpkins into human-like friends. In the episode "Pondweed Party," Orticia learned about friendship and became friends with the PJ Masks.
- Pirate Robot (voiced by Wyatt White): Romeo accidentally programmed this robot to find treasures like a real pirate. He calls Owlette his pirate queen. In "Owlette, the Pirate Queen," he changed from a villain to a hero.
- The Speedy Twins: Carly (voiced by Emma Ho) and Cartoka (voiced by Ian Ho) are twin siblings who are very fast. They are Catboy's main rivals. They stole the PJ Masks' original three vehicles and combined them into their own Flashcar. The PJ Riders helped the PJ Masks get their vehicles back.
