Peist used to be a small town, or 'municipality,' in the beautiful Graubünden area of Switzerland. It was part of the Plessur district.

On January 1, 2013, Peist and several other nearby towns like Langwies and Molinis joined together. They all became part of a bigger town called Arosa.

A Look Back in Time

Peist was first written about way back in the year 1084. It was called de Paiste then. This shows how old the settlement is!
