Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (born April 25, 1963) is a talented French actress. She is the daughter of actor Philippe Leroy and model Françoise Laurent. Philippine started her acting career in 1983. Her first movie was the comedy-drama Surprise Party. She later starred in the 1985 comedy film Three Men and a Cradle. For this role, she was nominated for a special award called the César Award for Most Promising Actress.
Leroy-Beaulieu has acted in more than 50 movies. She has played both main and supporting characters. From 2016 to 2019, she played the main character in the TV series Agathe Koltès. Since 2020, she has been famous for playing Sylvie Grateau in the Netflix show Emily in Paris.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu was born in Boulogne Billancourt, France. She spent her childhood in Italy. Her father, Philippe Leroy, worked in the film industry there. When she was 16, she moved to Paris to study acting. Her parents, especially her father, did not want her to become an actress. However, she decided to follow her dream.
After performing on stage, Leroy-Beaulieu made her first movie appearance. This was in Roger Vadim's 1983 film Surprise Party. The next year, she played Fauve Mistral in the 1984 TV mini-series Mistral's Daughter. This show was based on a novel by Judith Krantz.
In 1985, Leroy-Beaulieu got her first big movie role. She played a worried mother in the comedy Trois hommes et un couffin (Three Men and a Cradle). This movie was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. Her performance earned her a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress. The success of this film helped her career a lot.
She then appeared in several historical films. These included Andrzej Wajda's Les Possédés in 1988. She also acted in Philippe Le Guay's Les Deux Fragonard. In 1989, she played Charlotte Corday in La Révolution française. This movie was released to celebrate 200 years since the French Revolution.
Leroy-Beaulieu starred in the French film Natalia. This movie was shown at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival. In the years that followed, she acted in many European movies. Some of these include A Soul Split in Two (1993) and Neuf mois (1994). She also appeared in Un eroe borghese (1995), Vatel (2000), and Two Brothers (2004).
On television, she played Catherine Barneville in the comedy series Call My Agent! (2015-2018). She also had a main role in the detective series Agathe Koltès (2016-2019). In 2020, she became a main cast member in the Netflix comedy-drama series Emily in Paris. She plays Sylvie Grateau, a stylish and strict boss. In 2022, she appeared in the Netflix historical drama The Crown. She played Monique Ritz in one episode.
In April 2025, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu became a brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris. She helps promote their skin-care line in France. This is part of a campaign to celebrate "ageless beauty."
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu has a daughter named Taïs. Her daughter's father is director Richard Bean.
