He won it once with Atalanta, once with Roma, and twice with AC Milan. He also helped Atalanta win the Serie B title in the 1958–59 season. With AC Milan, he won the European Cup Winners' Cup. This was a big European competition.
Playing for Italy
Pizzaballa played one match for the Italy national football team. This happened on June 18, 1966, against Austria. He came into the game as a substitute.
He was also part of the Italian team for the 1966 FIFA World Cup. However, he did not play in any matches during that tournament. He was a backup goalkeeper to Enrico Albertosi. Even though many people thought he was one of the best goalkeepers of his time, he did not play much for the national team. This was because there were many other great Italian goalkeepers during those years. Some of these famous goalkeepers included Lorenzo Buffon, Fabio Cudicini, Giuliano Sarti, and Dino Zoff.
