History of Pike

How Pike Was Formed

The Town of Pike was established in 1818. It was created from a part of the Town of Nunda. Nunda is now part of Livingston County.

Changes to Pike's Borders

Over the years, parts of Pike were used to create other towns. In 1823, a section of Pike became the new Town of Eagle. Later, in 1846, another piece of Pike helped form the Town of Genesee Falls.
