Port Edward is a small town in British Columbia, Canada. It's called a "district municipality." About 577 people live there. Port Edward is located on the Tsimpsean Peninsula. This is a piece of land surrounded by water. It sits by Porpoise Harbour. This harbour is near the southern part of Chatham Sound. The town is also close to where the Skeena River meets the ocean. It's about 15 kilometers (9 miles) southeast of Prince Rupert.

However, this project was cancelled on July 25, 2017.
