Story of the Dino Charge Rangers
Season 1: Dino Charge
Long, long ago, 65 million years in the past, an alien named Keeper was being chased. He had ten special, powerful stones called Energems. An evil bounty hunter named Sledge wanted these gems to take over the universe.
Keeper crashed on prehistoric Earth. He hid the Energems with different dinosaurs to keep them safe. Keeper also damaged Sledge's ship, leaving Sledge stuck in space. But Sledge's asteroids accidentally hit Earth, causing the dinosaurs to disappear.
In our modern time, Keeper is found by a scientist named Kendall Morgan. They set up a secret base under the Amber Beach Dinosaur Museum. Their mission is to find the missing Energems.
Five Energems have already been found by teenagers. These teens use the gems to become the Dino Charge Power Rangers!
- Tyler Navarro is the Red Ranger. He is adventurous and looking for his dad. His dad vanished ten years ago during a dig.
- Shelby Watkins is the Pink Ranger. She works as a waitress but knows a lot about dinosaurs.
- Koda is the Blue Ranger. He is a cave man who found his Energem long ago. He was frozen until modern times.
- Riley Griffin is the Green Ranger. He is the youngest and very good with a sword.
- Chase Randall is the Black Ranger. He is a cool New Zealand skater.
With their new powers, the Rangers fight Sledge and his team of monsters. These villains include Poisandra, Fury, Wrench, and Curio. The Rangers must find the rest of the Energems and protect Earth.
Later, more Rangers join the team:
- Sir Ivan becomes the Gold Ranger. He is an 800-year-old knight from Zandar. He was trapped inside Fury for centuries.
- Prince Phillip III of Zandar becomes the Graphite Ranger. He is the modern prince of Ivan's home country.
- Kendall Morgan becomes the Purple Ranger. She takes over after Albert Smith gives up the role.
A new human-like villain named Heckyl also appears.
Season 2: Dino Super Charge
The Ranger team gets two more new members:
- James Navarro becomes the Aqua Ranger. He is Tyler's long-lost father.
- Zenowing becomes the Silver Ranger. He is a student and friend of Keeper.
But new powers bring new enemies! Singe, a mysterious fighter, arrives on Earth. He becomes Heckyl's second-in-command, which makes Fury angry. Heckyl starts to wonder if Singe knows more about the Energems than he lets on.
The Rangers find the Titano Zord. Heckyl demands to know how Singe knew its location. Singe runs away and returns with his boss, Lord Arcanon. Lord Arcanon has the evil Dark Energem. He was the one who hired Sledge to gather dangerous monsters for an army.
Lord Arcanon's rule ends when Sledge returns. Sledge destroys Arcanon and Snide (who was split from Heckyl). Sledge then betrays Snide, and the Rangers destroy Snide too. Sledge takes back control of his crew. At this time, Heckyl remembers his past as a good person. The Dark Energem had made him evil.
The Rangers then travel back in time. They destroy Sledge and his crew in the past. This changes history!
After their enemies are gone, the Rangers go their separate ways. Koda and Ivan return to their own times. Heckyl becomes the guardian of the Dark Energem and goes to Sentai 6 with Zenowing. Keeper returns to his home planet.
The present-day Rangers come back to their own time. They find that Earth is now a dinosaur zoo! Because Sledge's asteroids never hit Earth, the dinosaurs never went extinct.
