Rümlingen is a small and charming municipality located in the Sissach district. It is part of the canton of Basel-Country in Switzerland. This peaceful village is nestled in the beautiful Homburger valley.

History of Rümlingen
Rümlingen has a long history. The first time it was ever written about was in the year 1358. Back then, its name was spelled Rumelikon.
Geography and Land Use
Rümlingen covers an area of about 2.28 square kilometers (0.88 square miles). A big part of this land, almost half (47.4%), is used for farming. This includes fields for crops and areas for animals to graze.
