Raisa Andriana, known simply as Raisa, is a famous Indonesian singer and songwriter. She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 6, 1990. Raisa became well-known after her song "Serba Salah" became a hit. Before starting her solo career, she was a lead singer in a band called Andante. This band later changed its name to Vierra.
Raisa has won many awards for her music. These include the Indonesian Music Awards and the Music Planet Awards. In 2014, she made it onto the Billboard Uncharted chart, which was a big step for her. Later, in 2017, she also appeared on the Billboard Social 50 chart. This chart lists the most popular music artists on social media.

About Raisa
Raisa Andriana was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her parents are Allan Nur Ihsan Rachman and Ria Mariaty. She went to Binus University. Raisa showed her singing talent from a very young age. When she was just three years old, she would often pretend to be a singer on a stage. Even without much formal music training, she developed her unique singing style. She learned a lot by listening to her favorite singers. Some of these artists include Brian Mcknight, India Arie, and Stevie Wonder.

Starting Her Music Career (2008–2010)
Raisa's journey as a singer began when she worked with the famous composer David Foster. She performed with him at a concert in Jakarta. She also used to be the lead singer for a band called Andante. This band was started by Kevin Aprilio. In 2008, the band changed its members and was renamed Vierra. Raisa left the band because the record company wanted a different style for them.
First Album Success (2010–2013)
Raisa started to become very popular with her song "Serba Salah." This song helped her gain fame in the Indonesian music world. She then won an award at the Indonesian Music Awards. She was named the Best Newcomer, which was a great start to her solo career.
Her first album, called Raisa, came out in 2011. It was produced by Solid Records and Universal Music Indonesia. Many young musicians helped produce the album. These included Asta Andoko from RAN and Ramadhan Handy from Soulvibe.
Heart To Heart Album and TV Shows (2013–2015)
Raisa released her second album, Heart to Heart, on November 27, 2013. This album included popular songs like "Bye-Bye" and "Pemeran Utama." She also held a special concert for her fans and the media to celebrate the album.
In 2014, Raisa became a guest judge on the TV talent show Indonesian Idol Season 8. She later became a permanent judge on the show. In 2015, Walt Disney Pictures chose Raisa to sing the Indonesian version of "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes." This song was for the Disney movie Cinderella.
Handmade Album and More Performances (2015–Present)
In 2015, Raisa worked with singer Afgan on a song called "Percayalah." This song was for the movie London Love Story. She then released her third album, Handmade, in 2016. This album featured hit songs like "Jatuh Hati" and "Kali Kedua."
In April 2016, Raisa held a concert called "Handmade Showcase." She also went on a "Handmade Tour" to perform in many cities across Indonesia. In June 2016, Raisa was a special guest at the Grand Final of The Voice Indonesia Season 2. She also performed with Peabo Bryson at his concert, singing famous duets like "Beauty and the Beast."
Raisa's Family Life
Raisa Andriana married Australian actor Hamish Daud on September 3, 2017. On February 12, 2019, they welcomed their first child, a daughter. They named their daughter Zalina Raine Wyllie.
