Randolph is a small city located in Fremont County, Iowa, in the United States. In 2020, about 189 people lived there. Randolph is known as the hometown of Virginia D. Smith, who was a U.S. representative for Nebraska from 1975 to 1991. She was a member of the Republican Party.

History of Randolph
Randolph was officially planned out in 1877. This happened just before a railroad line was finished through the area. A farmer named Frank Peavy gave the community its name. He named it after Lord Randolph Churchill, who was the father of the famous British leader Winston Churchill.

Randolph is situated where Deer Creek meets the West Nishnabotna River. The city covers a total area of about 0.78 square kilometers (0.30 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water.
