Rennaz is a small town, also called a municipality, in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is part of the Aigle district.

History of Rennaz
Rennaz was first mentioned in official records way back in 1252. It was called ad villam de rayna then.
Geography and Location
Rennaz covers an area of about 2.19 square kilometers (which is about 0.85 square miles). A big part of this land, about 67.6%, is used for farming. Forests cover a small part, about 1.8%. The rest of the land, about 31.1%, has buildings and roads. A tiny bit, 0.5%, is made up of rivers or lakes.
The town is located in the Aigle district, right next to the Rhone river.

The coat of arms for Rennaz has a special design. It is split into two parts: the top part is black, and the bottom part is gold. On top of both parts, there is a red fox standing on its back legs. This design is called Per fess Sable and Or, overall a Fox rampant Gules.
