A Look Back: Reserve's History
Reserve got its start in the 1880s. A post office opened here in 1882, helping people send and receive mail for over 100 years until 1983.
The community was named "Reserve" because it was built on land that used to be part of an Indian reservation. This means the land was set aside for Native American tribes.
