Weather and Climate
Resurrection Peaks has a subarctic climate. This means it has long, cold, and snowy winters. The summers are usually mild. Temperatures can drop very low, sometimes below -20 °C (-4 °F). With wind, it can feel even colder.
This climate helps spruce and hemlock trees grow on the lower parts of the mountains. The best time to visit and see the peaks is in May and June. The weather is usually nicer then.
