Rondell Jerome Sheridan was born on August 15, 1958. He is an American actor, comedian, and TV director. He is most famous for playing Victor Baxter in the Disney Channel show That's So Raven. He also appeared in its spin-offs, Cory in the House and Raven's Home. Rondell went to Marquette University. He also played Dr. Ron Aimes in the sitcom Minor Adjustments.

Early Life and Education
Rondell Sheridan was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 15, 1958. He grew up on the South Side of the city. He later attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There, he studied how people communicate and also learned about advertising. He finished college in 1980. After that, Rondell trained to be an actor at the Circle in the Square Theatre School.
Rondell Sheridan's Career
Rondell Sheridan started his career as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s. His comedy style often involved observing everyday life. He performed on popular talk shows like The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He has said that famous comedians like George Carlin, Bill Cosby, and Richard Pryor inspired him. He saw them as "comedic storytellers" who influenced his own way of doing stand-up comedy.
Early Acting Roles
One of Rondell's first acting jobs was in the horror movie Deadtime Stories (1986). He played a guard at a mental hospital. Later, he got a main role as Dr. Ron Aimes, a child psychologist, in the sitcom Minor Adjustments (1995–1996). This show first aired on NBC. However, it moved to the UPN network after NBC canceled it. The show did not last long on UPN either and ended that season.
After Minor Adjustments, Rondell appeared in many other TV shows. He was a guest star on the CBS drama Touched by an Angel. He also played a police officer in the Nickelodeon series Kenan & Kel. From 1998 to 2001, he played Andre Walker, the father, on the sitcom Cousin Skeeter.
Disney Channel Success
Rondell Sheridan became very well-known for his role as Victor Baxter. Victor was a chef and the father of Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel series That's So Raven (2003–2007). After That's So Raven finished, Rondell continued to play Victor in the spin-off show Cory in the House. This show ran from 2007 to 2008.
He returned as Victor Baxter in Raven's Home, which is a continuation of That's So Raven. He first appeared as a guest star in season 2. In 2022, he joined the main cast in season 5. This happened after his character, Victor, had a heart attack, and Raven helped him recover.
Directing Work
Besides acting, Rondell Sheridan has also worked as a director. He directed several episodes of That's So Raven and Cory in the House. Since the late 2000s, he has directed a number of short films. One of these films is Nowhere Cafe (2016).
Personal Life
In April 2025, Rondell Sheridan was diagnosed with a serious medical condition called pancreatitis.
