Rossemaison is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Delémont area of the Jura canton in Switzerland.

A Look Back: Rossemaison's History
Rossemaison was first written about in the year 1462. Back then, it was called Rosemason. It also used to have a German name, Rottmund, but people don't use that name anymore.
Rossemaison's Geography
Rossemaison covers an area of about 1.89 square kilometers (0.73 square miles). A large part of this land, about 67.7%, is used for farming. This means it has fields for growing crops and pastures for animals.
About 18.5% of the area is covered by forests. The remaining 16.4% of the land is where buildings and roads are located. This includes homes, businesses, and transportation routes.

- Buildings and Roads: About 13.2% of the built-up area is for houses and other buildings. Roads and other ways to travel make up 1.1%.
- Forests: Most of the forest land, 17.5% of the total area, is dense forest. A small part, 1.1%, has orchards or small groups of trees.
