About Sam Llewellyn
Sam Llewellyn was born on Tresco. This is a small island in the Isles of Scilly, where his family had lived for many years. He grew up in a place called Norfolk in England.
He went to Eton College and then to St Catherine's College, Oxford for his studies. After school, Sam lived in Toronto, Canada, and also in Ireland. He later settled in Herefordshire, England, where he still lives today.
Sam loves the sea very much. He goes sailing often, and this passion inspires many of his stories. Before becoming a full-time writer, he worked as an editor and also sold fine art.
