Sant Josep de sa Talaia is in the southwest part of Ibiza. It shares borders with Vila d'Eivissa and Sant Antoni de Portmany. This area was formed a long time ago by joining different parts of the island. Back in 1229, after the Catalan conquest, Ibiza was divided into four main areas.
