  • North of Pottersville: There's a state-owned boat ramp with a hard surface. You can find it just north of the small community of Pottersville, right off US-9. This is good for launching bigger boats.
  • Eagle Point Campground: About two miles north of Pottersville, also off US-9, you'll find a state-owned hand launch. This spot is perfect for smaller boats like canoes or kayaks. It's located at the Eagle Point Campground.
  • Schroon Lake Village: In the village of Schroon Lake itself, there's a public beach. This is a great spot for swimming or launching small, non-motorized boats from the shore. It's also right off US-9.
