Seantrel Henderson (born January 21, 1992) is an American former professional football player. He played as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). The Buffalo Bills picked him in the 2014 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Miami.

Early Life and High School
Seantrel Henderson grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He went to Cretin-Derham Hall High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was a top player in high school. Many experts thought he was the best player in his age group.
In 2008, Rivals.com named him their Junior of the Year. USA Today also put him on their All-American First-Team. He was one of only two juniors to get this honor. In 2009, he made the All-USA team again. He was also named Offensive Player of the Year. This was special because he was the first lineman to win this award in 28 years.
Henderson helped his high school team win a state championship in 2009. He was named Minnesota Player of the Year by the Associated Press. This was also a first for a lineman.
Seantrel was good at more than just football. He also played basketball for a team called the "Howard Pulley Panthers." He even competed in track and field events. He threw the shot put and discus. He also won races like the 1,500 meter race walk.
Choosing a College
After visiting many colleges, Henderson first decided to play for the University of Southern California. However, he later changed his mind. In July 2010, he decided to go to the University of Miami instead. His father said Miami had always been his "second choice."
College Football Career
At the University of Miami, Seantrel Henderson started playing right away. As a freshman in 2010, he played in 12 games and started 9 of them. He was named an All-Freshman player by several groups.
In 2011, he played in eight games. He had been recovering from back surgery before the season. In 2012, he missed some practice time and the first game of the season. He also had a car accident that caused him to miss more practice.
Despite these challenges, Henderson started seven games at right tackle in 2012. He was recognized as an honorable mention for the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team. He decided to stay at Miami for his senior year.
After the 2013 season, he was again an honorable mention for the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team. He was invited to the 2014 Senior Bowl, which is a game for top college players before the NFL draft. He shared that he was ready to move forward and play in the NFL.

Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills picked Seantrel Henderson in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL draft. He was the 237th player chosen overall.
In his first year, 2014, Henderson played very well. He started all 16 games as the team's right tackle. He was a standout rookie.
In 2015, Henderson missed the last three games of the season. He was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a health condition that affects the digestive system. In 2016, he had surgery for his condition. He later announced he would return to play.
Houston Texans
On March 15, 2018, Henderson signed a one-year contract with the Houston Texans. He started the first game of the season at right tackle. However, he left the game with an ankle injury. He was later placed on injured reserve because of a broken ankle.
In 2019, Henderson signed another one-year contract with the Texans. He was later placed on a special list due to a back injury and was released in November.
