This big event happened at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. More than 70,000 people came to watch! The Spanish-language TV network, Univision, produced and filmed the show. It became the most-watched Spanish-language TV special ever in American history at that time.

The concert started with an introduction from actress Jennifer Lopez. Then, a video showed Selena greeting her fans at her last concert. This was at the Houston Astrodome in 1995.

Many famous Latin singers performed Selena's songs. Mexican singer Thalía sang "Amor Prohibido." The group Banda el Recodo performed "Techno Cumbia." Puerto Rican salsa singer India sang "No Debes Jugar."

After a short video about how Selena was discovered, Mexican artist Ana Bárbara performed "La Carcacha. She had many dancers with her. The song "Buenos Amigos" was sung by Mariana Seoane and Pablo Montero. Singer Alicia Villarreal finished this part with "Si Una Vez."

More Tributes and Memories

Another video showed Selena's success around the world. Mexican singer Ana Gabriel sang "Tú, Sólo Tú" for Selena. She then introduced Pepe Aguilar, who sang "No Me Queda Más." A video about Selena's early life in Texas played next. After that, Paulina Rubio performed "Fotos Y Recuerdos."

The next video showed Selena's band, Los Dinos. One of its former members, Pete Astudillo, narrated it. Astudillo then sang "Cómo Te Extraño," a song he wrote after Selena's death.

After a video showing moments from Selena's life, Puerto Rico's Olga Tañón performed "La Llamada." The famous singer Gloria Estefan sang Selena's English hit, "I Could Fall in Love."

Selena's brother, A.B. Quintanilla, and his group, Kumbia Kings, performed a special version of "Baila Esta Cumbia." They even sang it as a duet with Selena's voice! Later, Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán performed "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." This was followed by Bobby Pulido and Jay Pérez singing a mix of "Ya Ves" and "Yo Te Sigo Queriendo."

The late Colombian singer Soraya performed "Dreaming of You. The vocal group Barrio Boyzz joined her on stage. Mexican singer Graciela Beltrán sang "El Chico Del Apartamento 512."

A video about Selena's lasting impact was shown. Then, Aleks Syntek and Fey performed "Donde Quiera Que Estés." The band Montéz de Durango played their version of "Ven Conmigo."

At the end of the concert, a video of Selena singing "Como la Flor" played on huge screens. Los Dinos played along. All the performers came back to the stage to sing the chorus. A children's choir of 55 members also joined in.
