Seye Adelekan (born on May 15, 1988) is a talented musician. He is from Nigeria and Britain. People sometimes call him just Seye (pronounced SHAY-uh). He plays the bass guitar and also writes and sings his own songs. Seye is most famous for being the live bass player for the band Gorillaz since 2017.

Early Life and Travels
Seye Adelekan was born in Nigeria. His father worked in the oil business. Because of his father's job, Seye lived in many different places. He grew up in cities like Lagos in Nigeria, and also in the Netherlands and Ecuador. Later, he lived in south-east London, England.

Seye started his music career in 2007. He worked hard to become a professional musician.
First Songs and Tours
In 2012, Seye released his very first solo song. It was called "White Noise." Before joining Gorillaz, Seye toured with other famous singers. He played with Lana Del Rey and Emeli Sandé. Joining Gorillaz
