Shaea Muhssin Mohammed Al-Zindani (Arabic: شائع محسن محمد الزنداني; born 16 September 1954) is an important figure in Yemen's government. He is a skilled diplomat who has represented his country in many places around the world. Since January 15, 2026, he has been serving as the Prime Minister of Yemen, which is a very important leadership role. He was born in a place called Jahaf District, located in the Dhale Governorate of Yemen.

Shaea al-Zindani is a prominent Yemeni politician and diplomat. He has dedicated many years to public service, working to build relationships between Yemen and other countries. His career shows a long history of representing his nation on the global stage.
A Career in Diplomacy
Mr. Al-Zindani has spent a significant part of his career working as a diplomat. A diplomat is someone who represents their country in other nations. Their job is to help build good relationships and discuss important matters between governments. From 1990 to 1991, he worked as the deputy foreign minister. In this role, he assisted the main foreign minister in managing Yemen's international relations.
Representing Yemen Around the World
Shaea al-Zindani has served as an ambassador in several countries. From 1991 to 1994, he was Yemen's ambassador to the United Kingdom. Later, from 2005 to 2010, he represented Yemen in Italy. During this time, he also served as a non-resident ambassador to Greece, Serbia, Albania, and San Marino. This means he was the ambassador to Italy but also handled diplomatic duties for these other countries without living there full-time.
He also worked with international organizations. From 2008 to 2010, he was Yemen's ambassador to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. The FAO is an important group that works to end hunger and improve food security worldwide.
In 2010, he became the ambassador to Jordan. He temporarily stepped down from this role during a period of political changes in Yemen, but he later returned and continued to serve until 2015. More recently, from 2017 to 2024, he was the ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
