Shilique Calhoun, born on March 20, 1992, is an American former professional football player. He used to play as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Shilique played college football for the Michigan State Spartans. The Oakland Raiders picked him in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft.

College Football Career at Michigan State
Starting Out at Michigan State
Shilique Calhoun started at Michigan State University in 2011. In his first year, he was "redshirted." This means he practiced with the team but did not play in any games. This allowed him to train and get ready for future seasons.
Playing as a Backup and Starter
In 2012, as a redshirt freshman, Shilique played in all 13 games. He was a backup player. He made 6 tackles and helped stop 2 passes. He also had 1 sack.

On April 29, 2016, the Oakland Raiders picked Shilique Calhoun in the third round of the NFL draft. He was the 75th player chosen overall. He signed with the Raiders on June 17, 2016. He wore the number 91 jersey.
In his first year, he played in 10 games. He made 9 tackles and helped stop one pass. Later that year, he was placed on injured reserve. This means he could not play due to an injury.
In 2017, the Raiders let Shilique go, but they signed him to their practice squad the next day. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was later moved back to the main team.

On August 10, 2021, Shilique signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers. He was released by them later that month.
On October 19, 2021, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad. He was released in January 2022. He signed a new contract with the Chiefs in February 2022 but was waived in August.
