Winning Beauty Pageants
Shristi Shrestha first represented her home area, Chitwan, in the Miss Nepal 2012 pageant. She won the main title of Miss Nepal that year! She also won the 'Miss Confidence' award.
Shristi made history as the first Miss Nepal winner to reach the quarter-finals of Miss World. She placed 20th overall. She also did very well in other parts of the competition, like finishing eighth in 'Beach Beauty'. She was also one of the top ten contestants for the 'Multimedia Award'. Shristi even won the 'Public Choice Award' at Miss World.
Starting Her Acting Career
After her success in pageants, Shristi began her acting career. Her first Nepali film was Gajalu, where she acted alongside Anmol K.C.
Shristi also performed on stage. She played the character of Ophelia in a play called Hamlet. This play was written by the famous writer William Shakespeare. The show was put on at the Theatre Village in Kathmandu for a month. The British Council helped produce the play, and Gregory Thomson directed it.

Shristi Shrestha has received several awards for her acting. She won 'Best Debut Actor' awards from important events like the National Film Awards, the Kamana Film Awards, the Dcine Awards, and the FAAN Awards. These awards recognized her great start in the film industry.

Shristi Shrestha is not just an actress; she also cares about nature. She is the seventh Young Conservation Ambassador for WWF Nepal. She helps with projects that protect snow leopards. These projects are very important for saving these amazing animals.
