Silas is a small town located in Choctaw County, Alabama, in the United States. In 2020, about 377 people lived there.
On March 17, 2021, a tornado hit the town. It was not a very strong tornado in Silas itself. It knocked down some trees and caused minor damage to small buildings and homes. The tornado became stronger after it left Silas, causing injuries to two people further away.
