Siskiwit Lake is a small lake located in northern Wisconsin. You can find it in Bayfield County, on the Bayfield Peninsula. This lake is about 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Siskiwit Bay, which is part of Lake Superior.
The lake is also about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the Chequamegon National Forest. The city of Duluth-Superior is about 48 miles (77 km) to the west. Parts of the small town of Bell are right next to the lake. Many houses and vacation cabins are built around the lake, especially on its north side.

About Siskiwit Lake
Siskiwit Lake covers an area of 285 acres (1.15 km2). It is not very deep, with its deepest point being 13 feet (4.0 m). The shoreline around the lake is about 4 miles (6.4 km) long.
Islands in the Lake
The lake has a two-acre (8,100 m2) island called Long Island. There is also another small piece of land, Round Island. However, Round Island is actually connected to the mainland.
Lake Flow and Drainage
The deepest part of Siskiwit Lake is on its eastern side. A long, narrow bay stretches northwest from Long Island. The lake's water flows out from its eastern end into the Siskiwit River. This river then goes through Little Siskiwit Lake. Finally, it reaches Siskiwit Bay near the town of Cornucopia.
