Story of Skylanders Academy
The show takes place in a magical world called Skylands. Here, young heroes like Spyro the Dragon, Stealth Elf, and Eruptor are new students at Skylanders Academy. They are learning how to be true Skylanders from their teachers, Master Eon and Jet-Vac.
Their main goal is to protect Skylands from the evil villain Kaos and other bad guys. The series is full of action, adventure, and comedy as the team faces many challenges.
Season 1: Becoming Skylanders
In the first season, Spyro, Stealth Elf, and Eruptor are just starting their journey. They learn about teamwork and what it truly means to be a hero. Spyro, especially, learns to be less boastful and more humble.
They face off against Kaos, who tries to steal important items from the Academy. They also encounter the Doom Raiders, a group of dangerous criminals who escape from prison. The Skylanders must work together to stop these villains from causing chaos across Skylands.
Season 2: New Challenges and Secrets
The second season brings new adventures and deeper mysteries. Spyro discovers he has a special power: super strong scales! The team meets new characters like Cynder, a dragoness with a dark past, whose father is the evil Malefor.
Master Eon starts hiding secrets from Spyro, which makes Spyro wonder about his own family history. The Skylanders continue to fight villains like Chef Pepper Jack and Wolfgang. By the end of the season, a powerful evil named Strykore is freed, and a big secret about Kaos's family is revealed.
Season 3: Final Battle for Skylands
In the third and final season, the Skylanders face their biggest challenge yet. Strykore, who claims to be Kaos's father, is now free and wants to take over Skylands. Spyro is even turned evil for a while, becoming Dark Spyro.
The team must find a way to cure Spyro and stop Strykore. They get help from unexpected allies, including Kaos's mother, Kaossandra, and even Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco. The season builds up to an epic final battle to save the Core of Light and all of Skylands.

Making the Show
Skylanders Academy was created by Activision Blizzard Studios, a company formed to make movies and TV shows based on video games. The show is a spin-off, which means it has its own story that is separate from the Skylanders video games. This allowed the creators to tell new stories and give the characters different voices.
Some voice actors from the games, like Richard Steven Horvitz (Kaos) and Bobcat Goldthwait (Pop Fizz), did return for the show. Patrick Warburton also came back to voice Captain Flynn in the third season.
The show's creators originally thought about having Mark Hamill (who played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars) voice the villain Malefor, but he was busy. Some characters like Flynn and Tree Rex were planned for the second season but were cut due to budget reasons, though Flynn did appear later.
