Smail Prevljak (born on May 10, 1995) is a football player from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He plays as a forward for 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. He also plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Smail started his football journey at RB Leipzig. He mostly played for their reserve team. In 2014, he went on loan to Red Bull Salzburg. Later that year, he joined Liefering. The next year, he moved to Red Bull Salzburg permanently.
Prevljak was loaned to Mattersburg in 2017. In 2020, he was loaned to Eupen. He then signed with Eupen permanently later that year. In 2023, he joined Hertha BSC.
Smail also played for Bosnia and Herzegovina's youth teams. He started playing for the senior national team in 2018. Since then, he has played in over 20 games for his country.

Starting Out in Football
Smail Prevljak began playing football in his hometown. He joined Igman Konjic as a young player. In 2013, he moved to Germany. He joined the youth academy of RB Leipzig.
He played his first professional game on August 2, 2014. He was 19 years old at the time. This game was against VfR Aalen.
Time at Red Bull Salzburg
In August 2014, Prevljak went to Austria. He was loaned to Red Bull Salzburg for a season. He played his first official game for them on November 9 against Altach.
On October 3, he scored his first professional goal. This was for Red Bull Salzburg's partner team, Liefering. They won against Wacker Innsbruck.
In June 2015, he joined Red Bull Salzburg permanently. On August 23, he scored his first goal for the team. This was in a game against Austria Wien. On November 6, he scored his first hat-trick. This means he scored three goals in one game. It was in a win against FAC.
