Soyuz MS-12 was a space mission that launched on March 14, 2019. It carried three astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission used a Soyuz spacecraft, which is a type of spaceship.

The journey ended on October 3, 2019. The Soyuz-MS-12 capsule landed safely back on Earth. It brought back two of the original crew members and a new space traveler.

The first astronauts from the United Arab Emirates, Hazza Al Mansouri or Sultan Al Neyadi, were supposed to fly on Soyuz MS-12. However, their flight was moved to a later mission, Soyuz MS-15. This change happened after a problem with the Soyuz MS-10 mission.
