St. Clair is a small town, also called a borough, located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. It's about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Pottsville. This area is known as the Coal Region because it has a lot of hard coal underground.
St. Clair was once famous for making special items used in the mining industry. These included squibs, fuses, and caps. A creek called Mill Creek flows through the middle of St. Clair. Every October, the town hosts a fun event called the Brindled Dhow Floating Expo. People who love model dhow boats come from all over the region to show them off.
