History of Saint Stephen
Saint Stephen officially became a city in 1914. It has a special building called the Church of St. Stephen. This church was built in 1903. Its rectory, which is the house for the church's priest, was built even earlier in 1890. Both of these buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means they are important historical sites.
Geography and Location
Saint Stephen covers an area of about 3.72 square miles (9.64 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the city limits.
The city is easy to get to by car. Main roads that go through or near Saint Stephen include Stearns County Roads 2 and 5. Stearns County Roads 1 and 17 are also very close by.
