Stefanie Noelle Scott (born December 6, 1996) is an American actress and singer. She started her acting journey in 2008 with the movie Beethoven's Big Break. Stefanie also released her first music collection, called an extended play (EP), titled New Girl in Town in 2009.
She gained more attention with a role in the romantic film Flipped in 2010. This role even won her a Young Artist Award. Many people know her from her role as Lexi Reed on the Disney Channel show A.N.T. Farm, which aired from 2011 to 2014. This show helped her reach a bigger audience and earned her another Young Artist Award. While working with Disney, she also recorded several songs for the channel.
Stefanie then moved into bigger movies and TV shows. She lent her voice to a character in the animated movie Wreck-It Ralph in 2012. She also played a main role in the horror film Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), which was her most successful movie. She also appeared in the musical film Jem and the Holograms (2015) and sang on its soundtrack. More recently, she has starred in independent films like Small Town Crime (2017) and Beautiful Boy (2018). She currently stars in the Peacock series The Girl in the Woods (2021).

Early Life and Beginnings
Stefanie Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois. She has two older brothers. Before starting her acting career, she lived in Indialantic, Florida. She went to Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy for a while. In 2010, she began to be schooled at home.
Stefanie's Acting Journey
Starting Out and Disney Fame (2008–2012)
Stefanie first appeared in Discovery Girls magazine in 2009. Her first movie role was as Katie in Beethoven's Big Break. She also acted in the movie Flipped, directed by Rob Reiner. Later, she played a younger version of the main character in the film No Strings Attached.
Stefanie was the voice of Emma in the Disney animated TV show Special Agent Oso, which started in 2009. She also had guest roles in TV shows like Sons of Tucson and Chuck. In Chuck, she played a 12-year-old Sarah Walker. During this time, she released her second song, "Shoulda Woulda Coulda."
In 2011, Stefanie became a main star in the Disney Channel Original Series A.N.T. Farm. She played the character Lexi Reed. She also helped behind the scenes as a second assistant director for the show's first season. In the same year, Stefanie released a song called "Girl I Used to Know." The music video for this song came out in October 2011. It featured the band Before You Exit as her band.
Moving to Mainstream Films and TV (2013–Present)
In 2013, Stefanie was a guest star on the TV show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also voiced the character Moppet Girl in the animated movie Wreck-It Ralph. Stefanie also appeared on the Disney Channel show Jessie as Maybelle. Since 2013, Stefanie has supported charities like Shoeboxes for Haiti and Cookies for Kids Cancer.
In 2014, Stefanie started filming four movies. These included Insidious: Chapter 3 (released in June 2015) and Jem and the Holograms. She also filmed 1 Mile to You and Caught. Caught was shown at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June 2015. In 2015, Stefanie was in Hayley Kiyoko's music video for "Girls Like Girls." She also appeared in the crime thriller film I.T. (2016). In this movie, she played the daughter of Pierce Brosnan and Anna Friel.
In August 2016, it was announced that Stefanie would star in the sci-fi movie At First Light (2018). In February 2021, she played the main character Sara Cody in the Lifetime movie Girl In The Basement. In May 2021, she took on the lead role of Carrie in the Crypt TV series The Girl in the Woods.
Stefanie also starred with Isabelle Fuhrman in the 2021 horror film The Last Thing Mary Saw.
