Sulgen is a municipality located in the Weinfelden District in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. It's a place where many people live and work, and it has a rich history.

Sulgen covers an area of about 9.13 square kilometers (3.5 square miles). A large part of this land, about 67%, is used for farming. Forests cover about 12.9% of the area.

Around 18.6% of Sulgen is built up with buildings and roads. This includes places like industrial buildings, homes, and transportation routes. A small part, about 0.3%, is made up of rivers or lakes. The rest, about 0.8%, is land that isn't used for anything specific.

In 1996, two smaller municipalities, Götighofen and Hessenreuti, joined with Sulgen.
