Suroosh Alvi (born March 26, 1969) is a Canadian journalist and filmmaker. He is famous for being one of the founders of Vice Media, a media company that creates news and entertainment for a young audience.

Alvi has traveled the world as a journalist and producer. He makes documentaries about important and sometimes difficult topics. Career at VICE Media

Founding VICE

In 1996, Alvi and his partners Shane Smith and Gavin McInnes started a magazine in Montreal called VICE. It began by covering the local culture scene but quickly grew.

Today, VICE is a huge media company. It has a popular website, a TV channel, a record label, and even publishes books. VICE creates many original video series about news, travel, music, art, and food. It has reporters and offices all over the world.
