Swansea Vineyards is a special place in Shiloh, New Jersey, where delicious wines are made. It's located in Cumberland County. This vineyard used to be a farm that grew fruits and vegetables.
The first grapevines were planted here in 1994. Then, in 2007, Swansea Vineyards opened its doors to visitors. Today, they grow grapes on 12 acres of land. Each year, they produce about 2,000 cases of wine. The vineyard gets its name from the first people who settled in Shiloh. They were a group called Seventh Day Baptists who came from a town called Swansea in Wales.

Swansea Vineyards is special because it's the only winery in New Jersey that uses Lakemont and Reliance grapes. These are unique because they are seedless table grapes. Lakemont grapes were first grown in New York, and Reliance grapes came from Arkansas.
How Swansea Vineyards Operates
Swansea Vineyards has a special permit called a farm winery license. This license allows them to make a lot of wine each year. They can produce up to 50,000 gallons!
