Brandon Montel Scott (born on September 11, 1996), known as Swarmz, is an English rapper and a crossover boxer. This means he is famous in both music and boxing.
He became well-known in 2018 with his song "Lyca." This success led him to sign with Virgin Records, a big music company. He also worked with KSI and Tion Wayne on the song "Houdini." This song was a big hit, reaching number 6 on the UK music charts.
Later, Swarmz started releasing "diss tracks" to promote his boxing matches. A diss track is a song meant to insult or challenge someone. His first one was called "KSI Diss Track."
Swarmz began his boxing journey as a last-minute replacement for KSI. This was at an event called MF & DAZN: X Series 001. He lost that fight in the second round by knockout. He later won a fight against Ryan Taylor at X Series 004. He won in the first round by technical knockout. He has had several other fights, winning some and losing others.

Early Life and Background
Brandon Scott was born in Greenwich, London. His family comes from Barbados and Jamaica. Growing up, Brandon was very inspired by the music his family listened to. Many of these artists were from Jamaica.
When he was in school, he and his friends started rapping for fun. This was the beginning of his music journey. In 2020, he was in a car accident in London. Luckily, no one was hurt.
Football Career
Brandon Scott has always been a big fan of Arsenal, a famous football club. When he was a teenager, he was a very good footballer. He played for the youth teams of several professional clubs. These included Fulham, Charlton Athletic, and Southend United.
While at Southend, he also played for a short time at East Thurrock United. In 2016, Southend United released him from their team. After that, he played for Cray Wanderers and Whitehawk. In 2018, he decided to stop playing football to focus on his music career.
Music Career
Starting Out and Becoming Famous
Swarmz started making music as a hobby while he was playing youth football. He first shared his freestyle songs on SoundCloud. Back then, he used the name Swarmzy-B. He later shortened it to Swarmz when he started making music professionally.
In 2017, he released his first music video called "Money." It quickly got over 200,000 views on YouTube. In early 2018, he released another song called "Murda." His biggest hit, "Lyca," came out later that year. After "Lyca" became very popular, he signed with Virgin Records. He then became even more famous with songs like "Bally" and "Motorola."
In March 2020, Swarmz was featured on a song called "Houdini." This song was by KSI and also featured Tion Wayne. "Houdini" was a huge success, reaching number 6 on the UK Singles Chart.
Music Break and Boxing Songs
In August 2022, Swarmz was set to fight KSI in a boxing match. Because of this, he decided to take a break from making music. To promote the fight, Swarmz released a song called "KSI Diss Track" on August 16. This song was aimed directly at KSI.
He continued to release diss tracks for his boxing matches. In January 2023, he released "Redemption" for his fight against Ryan Taylor. In May, he released another diss track for his fight against Deji Olatunji.
Boxing Career
Swarmz vs. KSI
On August 7, 2022, it was announced that Swarmz would have a professional boxing match against English YouTuber KSI. The fight was held at The O2 Arena in London. Swarmz stepped in at the last minute because KSI's original opponent, Alex Wassabi, had to pull out.
At first, Swarmz was supposed to be the main event. However, KSI decided to fight twice that night. So, Swarmz's fight became the opening match, and KSI fought Luis Alcaraz Pineda as the main event. KSI defeated Swarmz by knockout in the first round.
Swarmz was supposed to fight Kristen Hanby later that year but pulled out. He said he needed more time to get ready.
Swarmz vs. Ryan Taylor
On December 5, 2022, it was announced that Swarmz would fight English BMX YouTuber Ryan Taylor. This fight took place at Wembley Arena in London on January 14, 2023. Swarmz won the fight in the first round. Ryan Taylor had an eye injury and had to stop fighting.
After this win, Swarmz signed a deal with Misfits Boxing for multiple fights.
Swarmz vs. Deji
After his win against Ryan Taylor, Swarmz challenged other YouTubers like King Kenny and Deji Olatunji. On April 13, 2023, his fight against Deji Olatunji was announced. It was the co-main event at X Series 007 at Wembley Arena on May 14. Deji Olatunji won the fight by a unanimous decision. This means all the judges agreed Deji won.
Survivor Tag Match
On June 14, 2023, Swarmz was announced to be part of the first-ever "survivor tag" crossover boxing match. This was the main event for X Series 008. It took place in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, on July 22.
He fought against three other YouTubers: NichLmao, BDave, and Ryan Johnston. NichLmao won the match based on points. In this type of match, no fighter is eliminated.
Swarmz vs. Ed Matthews
On September 23, 2023, it was announced that Swarmz would have a rematch with Ryan Taylor. This fight was planned for X Series 10 – The Prime Card on October 14 in Manchester. However, Ryan Taylor had to withdraw from the fight.
On October 12, English TikToker Ed Matthews was announced as the new opponent. Matthews defeated Swarmz by knockout in the first round. Swarmz later shared that he broke his ankle during the fight.
Swarmz vs. Luis Alcaraz Pineda
After his fight with Deji Olatunji, Luis Alcaraz Pineda challenged Swarmz to a fight. On November 21, 2024, it was announced that Swarmz would fight Pineda. This was the same person KSI fought on the night Swarmz fought KSI.
The fight took place in Doha, Qatar, on November 28. Pineda defeated Swarmz by unanimous decision.
