Brandon Montel Scott (born 11 September 1996), known as Swarmz, is an English rapper and professional boxer.
He became well-known in 2018 with his song "Lyca," which led him to sign with Virgin Records. He also featured on the song "Houdini" with KSI and Tion Wayne, which reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Later, he started releasing special songs called "diss tracks" to go along with his boxing matches.
Swarmz made his boxing debut in 2022 as a last-minute replacement for KSI. He lost that fight. Since then, he has had several more boxing matches, winning one and losing others. He has fought against other YouTubers and online personalities.
About Swarmz
Early Life and Background
Brandon Scott was born in Greenwich, London. His family comes from Barbados and Jamaica. Growing up, he was inspired by the music his family listened to, especially Jamaican artists. He started rapping with his friends while he was still in school.
In May 2020, Scott was in a car crash in London. A car he had rented for a music video hit a London bus. Luckily, no one was hurt, and no arrests were made.
Football Journey
Swarmz has always been a big fan of Arsenal football club. When he was a teenager, he was a very good footballer. He played for the youth teams of Fulham, Charlton Athletic, and Southend United. He even had a short time playing for East Thurrock United.
In 2016, he left Southend United. After that, he played for other teams like Cray Wanderers and Whitehawk. In 2018, he decided to stop playing football professionally to focus on his music career.
Music Career
Starting Out and Becoming Famous
Swarmz began making music as a hobby while he was still playing youth football. He first shared his freestyle songs on SoundCloud under the name Swarmzy-B. He later shortened it to Swarmz when he started making music seriously.
His first music video, "Money," came out in 2017 and got over 200,000 views on YouTube. In early 2018, he released another song called "Murda." His big breakthrough came later that year with the song "Lyca." After "Lyca" became very popular, he signed with Virgin Records. He then became even more well-known with songs like "Bally" and "Motorola."
In March 2020, Swarmz worked with Tion Wayne on KSI's song "Houdini." This song was a big hit, reaching number 6 on the UK Singles Chart.
Music and Boxing
In August 2022, Swarmz was set to have a boxing match against KSI. This led him to take a break from his music career. To promote the fight, he released a special song called "KSI Diss Track" on August 16.
He continued to release "diss tracks" before his boxing matches. In January 2023, he released "Redemption" before his fight with Ryan Taylor. In May, he released another one before his match against Deji Olatunji.
Boxing Career
First Fights
On August 7, 2022, it was announced that Swarmz would fight KSI in a professional boxing match at The O2 Arena in London. Swarmz stepped in after another fighter, Alex Wassabi, had to pull out. Swarmz was supposed to fight again in October 2022 but decided he needed more time to get ready.
Swarmz vs. Taylor
On December 5, 2022, it was announced that Swarmz would return to the boxing ring against Ryan Taylor on January 14, 2023. Swarmz won this fight in the first round because Taylor had an eye injury and couldn't continue. After this win, Swarmz signed a deal to have more fights with Misfits Boxing.
Swarmz vs. Deji

Survivor Tag Match
On June 14, 2023, it was announced that Swarmz would be part of the first-ever "survivor tag" boxing match. This special fight involved four fighters: Swarmz, NichLmao, BDave, and Ryan Johnston. The match happened on July 22, 2023. NichLmao won the match based on points, and no fighter was knocked out.
Swarmz vs. Matthews

On October 12, 2023, Ed Matthews was announced as the new opponent. Matthews won the fight by knockout in the first round. Swarmz later shared that he fractured his ankle during the match.
