Brandon Montel Scott (born on September 11, 1996), known as Swarmz, is an English rapper and a crossover boxer. This means he is famous in both music and boxing.

He became well-known in 2018 with his song "Lyca." This success led him to sign with Virgin Records, a big music company. He also worked with KSI and Tion Wayne on the song "Houdini." This song was a big hit, reaching number 6 on the UK music charts.

Later, Swarmz started releasing "diss tracks" to promote his boxing matches. A diss track is a song meant to insult or challenge someone. His first one was called "KSI Diss Track."

Swarmz began his boxing journey as a last-minute replacement for KSI. This was at an event called MF & DAZN: X Series 001. He lost that fight in the second round by knockout. He later won a fight against Ryan Taylor at X Series 004. He won in the first round by technical knockout. He has had several other fights, winning some and losing others.

Early Life and Background

Brandon Scott was born in Greenwich, London. His family comes from Barbados and Jamaica. Growing up, Brandon was very inspired by the music his family listened to. Many of these artists were from Jamaica.

When he was in school, he and his friends started rapping for fun. This was the beginning of his music journey. In 2020, he was in a car accident in London. Luckily, no one was hurt.

Football Career

Brandon Scott has always been a big fan of Arsenal, a famous football club. When he was a teenager, he was a very good footballer. He played for the youth teams of several professional clubs. These included Fulham, Charlton Athletic, and Southend United.

While at Southend, he also played for a short time at East Thurrock United. In 2016, Southend United released him from their team. After that, he played for Cray Wanderers and Whitehawk. In 2018, he decided to stop playing football to focus on his music career.

Music Career

Starting Out and Becoming Famous

Swarmz started making music as a hobby while he was playing youth football. He first shared his freestyle songs on SoundCloud. Back then, he used the name Swarmzy-B. He later shortened it to Swarmz when he started making music professionally.

In 2017, he released his first music video called "Money." It quickly got over 200,000 views on YouTube. In early 2018, he released another song called "Murda." His biggest hit, "Lyca," came out later that year. After "Lyca" became very popular, he signed with Virgin Records. He then became even more famous with songs like "Bally" and "Motorola."

In March 2020, Swarmz was featured on a song called "Houdini." This song was by KSI and also featured Tion Wayne. "Houdini" was a huge success, reaching number 6 on the UK Singles Chart.

Music Break and Boxing Songs

In August 2022, Swarmz was set to fight KSI in a boxing match. Because of this, he decided to take a break from making music. To promote the fight, Swarmz released a song called "KSI Diss Track" on August 16. This song was aimed directly at KSI.

He continued to release diss tracks for his boxing matches. In January 2023, he released "Redemption" for his fight against Ryan Taylor. In May, he released another diss track for his fight against Deji Olatunji.

On August 7, 2022, it was announced that Swarmz would have a professional boxing match against English YouTuber KSI. The fight was held at The O2 Arena in London. Swarmz stepped in at the last minute because KSI's original opponent, Alex Wassabi, had to pull out.

At first, Swarmz was supposed to be the main event. However, KSI decided to fight twice that night. So, Swarmz's fight became the opening match, and KSI fought Luis Alcaraz Pineda as the main event. KSI defeated Swarmz by knockout in the first round.

Swarmz was supposed to fight Kristen Hanby later that year but pulled out. He said he needed more time to get ready.
